Timothy Rushing

Timothy Charles Rushing, also known as Tim Dog, was born on May 27, 1977 to his parents George Sr. and Luedean Rushing. He was the youngest of six children. Tim attended and was very active in the Long Branch School system. He was a member of the wrestling team and won many awards in drama under the leadership of Vincent Borelli. After graduating high school, he continued his education and received a degree in Culinary Arts. Tim worked at Monmouth Park and FaNagle the Bagel before devoting the rest of his career to Jack’s Goal Line Stand in Long Branch. He was a manager at Jack's, and was a great asset to the business. He was known as a diehard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Michigan Wolverines. Timothy will forever live in our hearts because of his smile, the way he loved and the way he cared. Tim chose to give the gift of life and become an organ donor through the NJ Sharing Network. He was preceded in death by a sister Mary Rushing. He leaves to mourn, his parents George Rushing Sr, Luedean Henderson; his brothers, George and Colleen Rushing, Robert and Gloria Rushing, Christopher Burnett; his sisters, Sharon and Stephen Cain, Dawn and William Sutton, Michele Rushing, THE best friend in the world, Officer Josh Wagner, 27 nieces and nephews, a host of family and a group of devoted friends who never left his side. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 10 am until the time of the service at 12 noon at the Abundant Life Church of God, 632 Rt. 537 in Freehold. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Freehold. The family invites you to send a letter of condolence, light a memorial candle or make a memorial donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
