William F. Frey, age 64 of Long Branch, died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at home. He was an auto mechanic at Midtown Tire in Long Branch. Bill was a member of the Phil Daly Hose Company #2, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, he was a life resident. He was predeceased by his parents William J. and Marie Frey; a son, Philip Frey; and a sister, Harriet “Sandy” Paro. Surviving are his wife Alice Frey; son, Steven Frey and his fiancé Ausenda Brown; a daughter and son in law, Tracey and Aaron Biernacki; a daughter in law, Lynn Montaque-Frey; two brothers and sisters in law, Charles and Sue Frey, Leslie and Margaret Swazzo; six grandchildren, Keith Dietz, Elizabeth Montaque-Frey, Taran Hartwell, Cheyanne, Katelyn and Trevor Biernacki; and many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday from 6:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7:30 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.), Long Branch.
