Thomas Redman

Thomas J. Redman, 76 of Manasquan Shores passed at Ocean Medical Center on July 20, 2018 with his family by his side. Thomas was born in Staten Island, NY and raised in Belmar NJ. He was a graduate of St Rose High School in 1958. Thomas attended Bloomfield College before enlisting into the United States Navy. After his military service Thomas worked for the Monmouth County Sheriff’s and the Monmouth County Corrections for five years. He was the owner of Redman’s Marina in Waretown, NJ which he operated for over eight years. Thomas then worked for Heyniger Brother’s Hardware for over 20 years as a retail salesman. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed boating, going to the beach, doing yard work, reading about history and researching his family genealogy which enabled him to find and visit family in Gibraltar. Thomas will be missed by his loving cat Jack. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Linda ( Heyniger) Redman of Manasquan Shores; his two loving daughters and a son-in-law Christine and Robert Waldeyer of Manasquan and Corinne Redman of Brick. Thomas is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Joseph, Jessica and Jonathan. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday July 24, 2018 from 4-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan. A funeral service will be held 1 pm on Wednesday July 25, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Glendola Cemetery, Wall. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Central Jersey Chapter 740 Broad Street Shrewsbury NJ 07702.
