Evan H. Crook, of Marlton, NJ. Passed away on May 11, 2017, at the age of 83. Beloved husband for 61 years of Margaret “Peggy” (nee Gifford). Devoted and loving father of Deborah Gross (John), Evan H. C. Crook (Diana), and Laura Dolan (Timothy). Dear brother of Esther Shropshire (Thomas) and the late Elizabeth Sandberg (John). Loving grandfather of John Gross, Jr. (Amanda), Jessica Gross (Matthew), Kyle and Katelyn Dolan, and Christopher and Rachel Crook. Caring great-grandfather of Logan and Lincoln. Evan graduated from Collingswood High School in 1951. He then attended Rutgers where he was a Henry Rutgers Scholar. He continued his education at University of Pennsylvania where he earned his PhD. Evan worked for Rohm and Haas for 40 years as a Research Chemist. He was a member of the Haddonfield Bible Church where he was an Elder. Evan loved God, his family and baseball. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday, May 17, from 9am to 11am at Wiley Church, 99 East Main Street, Marlton, NJ. The funeral service will be at 11am at the church. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
