Gary W. Thompson, of Erial, NJ, formerly of Gibbsboro, NJ, passed away, way too soon, on May 18, 2017, at the age of 61. Avid fisherman who rarely caught any keepers, but for him that never mattered. Lover of all animals who never met a dog he didn’t pet. Supplier of the best sweets especially donuts. Expert artisanal bow and basket maker. Talented photographer, guitarist, and artist. Friend to all. Beloved father of Jessica Williams (John). Loving brother of Steven Thompson (Carol), Karen Boone (Bill), Michael Thompson (Barbara), and Vicki Taylor (Michael). Loving uncle of numerous nieces and nephews along with their friends. Gary is also survived by his best friend and dog, Mr. Miyagi Griffin, as well as a multitude of friends including people whose lives he didn’t even realize he touched. A celebration of life memorial will be held on May 26, 2017 4pm-8pm at the American Legion Post 371, 41 Lakeview Dr. N., Gibbsboro, NJ. The celebration will continue at his house later that evening.
