James Demas Marlton, New Jersey Obituary

James Demas

As many of you know, Jay Demas passed Thursday Sept. 7, 2017 in his home in Marlton, NJ. It saddens us to announce the untimely death of our friend and member of our community. There will be a noticeable void with many who knew him. Jay's death is not only emotionally devastating. but unfortunately, he left with no life insurance. We are reaching out to the community for donations to help offset his final expenses, and if possible to help relieve some of the financial strain his wife Maria Demas (the owner of Mums the Word in Kings Grant) will be facing during this difficult time. Both Jay and Maria have always been involved in the community and have offered help in every way they can whenever it was needed. Please, consider this as an option to give back to people who always give to their community. Funeral costs and expenses are expensive and let us do what we can to help. With that said, if you wish to contribute in any amount at all there will be donation boxes set up at King's Grant Liquors by the registers as well as at Cibo's in the Merchants Village Shopping Center in King's Grant development in Marlton, NJ. There will also be collections spots at Cornerstone bank's in the area. At the locations, we will be accepting cash or checks made out to "Memorial Fund James Demas" If you wish to contribute and are not able to get to one of these locations you can also mail check's to: Cornerstone Bank Attn: Marylou Layman-Cornog 133 Rt. 73 Voorhees, NJ 08043 Thank you all for your concern, for reaching out, and for offering your support in whatever way you can. Maria is deeply grateful to have so many caring people around her during this difficult time. Thank you all!
