Joseph J. Jones

Joseph J. Jones Of Pennsauken, NJ passed away on March 22, 2020 at the age of 84. He was the beloved son of the late Joseph and late Sarah(McCullen). Joseph was predeceased by his brothers, the late Kenneth Jones and the late Donald Jones. He is survived by his children Theresa Unger (Mark), Joann Jones, and Joseph M. Jones (Rose Ciglar). Grandchildren, Mark, Ellen, Anna, Matthew, Ronan and Kennedy Rose and great-granddaughters, Lilia and Noell. Siblings, Martha Breinig, Robert Jones, and Audrey Best. He is also survived by his favorite niece Bonnie, and many other loving nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. Joseph served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to1961, and worked for most of his career as a mechanical engineer, specializing in nuclear energy. He was a member of the blue grass bands Jersey Grass, Stone Mountain band, and until his death, Cranberry Jam. Joseph was an accomplished guitar and banjo player, car mechanic, luthier, carpenter, and all around artist. He was loved by many, and respected by all. Services to honor his memory will be held at a later date.
