Mary A. Fiorani Marlton, New Jersey Obituary

Mary A. Fiorani

Mary A Fiorani, 85, of Southampton, NJ passed away suddenly and peacefully from complications due to Covid 19 on Monday, January 11, 2021. Mary, was born November 8, 1935 in Berwick, PA to Samuel Silvetti Sr and Philomena (Penque) and was one of eight children. Graduate of Mifflinville High School, she quickly met and married the love of her life Leonard Fiorani of Mocanaqua, PA (deceased 1991). Together they moved to Levittown, PA to begin their family. Mary was the ultimate stay at home mom who catered to all extended family. She loved to be surrounded by friends and entertain around the pool. After her children were grown, at age 40, Mary attended Helene Fuld Nursing school, where she received her LPN and worked for 14 years. In 2010, Mary moved to Southampton, NJ to be closer to her two daughters and her grandchildren. She is survived by her three children Renée Pepsin O'Neil and her husband Shawn of Marlton, NJ, Anthony L Fiorani of Southampton, NJ and Angela Fiorani Werner and her husband Fred of Shamong, NJ and brother in law Ronald Fiorani of Kingston, PA. Mary is survived by four beloved grandchildren Zachary Pepsin, Jake Pepsin, Bridget Werner and Kyle Werner. Mary was truly one of a kind! She was the devoted personal care provider for her son Anthony, and took pride that no one could top her devotion. She was the unofficial Mother, Aunt and friend to many. Mary had a passion for life! She was known to give her opinion on all topics with no filter, on subjects ranging from politics to sports. An avid Yankees fan, Mary loved to watch games with Anthony and rooted especially hard when they played the Red Sox. By far, her number one hobby, which could be recognized by her amazing and meticulous yard, was gardening. As the seasons changed, so would the colors of her yard and nothing topped her dahlias! Nothing put a smile on Mary’s face like spending time with her favorite people in the world, Zach, Jake, Bridget and Kyle. The closeness of those relationships kept her young at heart and strong in health, as there was never a time she could not keep up! From rapping and singing in the living room, to dancing in Tic Toc videos, she was the ultimate provider of entertainment to all. She had an affinity for homemade carrot cake, a love for Red Lobster, colossal king crab legs (Colossal King Only…) and an occasional cold Miller Lite. Mary was a big supporter and fan of Publisher’s Clearing House and was convinced that on one lucky day, they would be knocking on her door with balloons, cameras and a big check. Her biggest concern was that her hair, make up and nails would be done prior to their arrival. There was never a dull moment and was always a circus going on in the Fiorani house! Mary will be greatly missed. At this time, the family has decided to wait until a sunny day in the future to hold services and a Celebration of Life. In leu of flowers, we ask that you all take a moment to hug your family members and remember “Everyday is a gift”.
