Adam Westcott, Sr. of Galloway Township passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 18th at the age of 60. Adam is survived by his son, Adam Westcott, Jr.; his daughter, Amy Westcott; and his granddaughter, Quinn Ruggles. He also leaves behind 10 brothers and sisters, Susan Brown ; James Westcott; Faith Westcott Paul Westcott; Ruth Ferrigno Lois Westcott Sandra Barrett; William Westcott, Raymond Westcott, Elizabeth Schofield and many nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him, including a lifelong best friend and brother, Billy Williams. Adam was predeceased by his parents, Adam Westcott and Ellen Westcott of Pleasantville, and his brothers-in-law, Ken Brown, Sr.; Anthony Ferrigno Sr.; and Wilbur Barrett; and sister-in-law, Kathryn Westcott. Adam was known for being a jack-of-all-trades, who could fix anything. He was remembered for a long career as a mechanic at Colonial Campers in Cardiff and Atlantic Cape RV in Galloway Township. There was not a thing he could not fix. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, dirt bikes, Nascar and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. His greatest joy, though, was his family. Adam loved spending time with his children and granddaughter, nephews and nieces, who will miss him dearly. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects to Adam on Tuesday, January 24th from 6pm-8pm at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, where services will be held at 8pm.
