Alfred J. Klepacki 87, of Mays Landing passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 with family at his side. Alfred was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and grew up in the Green Point section of Brooklyn, NY. A WWll Army veteran, Al served in the Pacific Theater. After being honorably discharged, Al and his wife Anna moved to the Bears Head section of Hamilton Township and resided here for the past 64 years. He is predeceased by his wife Anna of 54 years. His brothers Ben and Edward and sister Stacia (Murphy). He is survived by his sister Mary Klepacki and brother Edmund (Moon) of Mays Landing. Sons Paul of Mays Landing and Rick of Clayton, Washington. Nephews Bob and Ed Klepacki, Bernie Murphy and niece Barbara Edmonds. 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren as well as many great grand nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday evening, November 20, from 6 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday morning, November 21, from 9 to 10:00 a.m., with services immediately following, at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ. Burial will be at St. Bernard’s Church cemetery, Pennsylvania Avenue, Dorothy, NJ. The family would like to express our gratitude to all the Compassionate Care Hospice nurses and aides.
