Alfred E. Sundberg, “Al” age 85 of Galloway Township passed away on May 28, 2014. Al was born on October 14, 1928 in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia to the late George and Kathryn Sundberg. He was predeceased by his brother George Sundberg of Port St. Lucie, Florida and brother William Sundberg of Woodbury, New Jersey. He is survived by his son Mark Sundberg of Galloway Township, New Jersey and son Eric and daughter in law Meg Sundberg of Dorothy, New Jersey and his grandsons Kristian and Kevin Sundberg. He was a graduate of St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and served in the Army during the Korean War. Al retired as President of the Metropolitan Appraisal Corporation after many years working as a commercial real estate appraiser. A special thank you to the Seashore Gardens Living Center for their loving care and support. Interment and a celebration of life will take place at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in the Atlantic County Park at Estell Manor, New Jersey at a future date and time. Family and friends will be notified of the final arrangements.
