Heath, Anita Louise, 75, of Mays Landing, passed away quietly at ARMC, surrounded by her family. Anita had three loving children, Theresa Logan (deceased), Michael (Lori), and Scott (Paula). Bill, the love of her life, her caring companion and loving caregiver for his “Muffin” for 33 years. She had three siblings, Norma K. Thompson (deceased), Connie McAdam (Bill-D) and Richard (deceased). Anita is survived by grandchildren Toni, Joey, Kayla, Tyler and Lil’ Mikey, Lori Lynn, Michael, Justin and great grandchildren, two nieces, Kathy Thompson-Hackett, Valarie Pierce, two nephews, Stephen S. and Robert Thompson. Anita grew up in the Old “Atlantic City Inlet”, attended Holy Spirit High School. Later she worked for the AC Police Department, as did her mom and sister Norma. Her father Norman Pierce, son Michael, Niece Kathy and nephew Bobby were all retired police officers.

Her greatest pleasures were Saturday bingo at St. Bernadette Church, watching the Cowboys, and Phillies games with Bill, and the Phillies game that her sons took her to see.

Friends and family are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, December 1st, from 10am-12noon, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where services will be held at 12noon. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
