Ann B. McNamee, 89, of Absecon, NJ, a resident at Absecon Manor, passed away on July 4, 2017. She was born in Robinsville, NJ, the daughter of the late Silvester and Mary Michna. Ann was the beloved wife of the late husband Joseph B. McNamee, Jr. They were married for 59 years. Ann was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church. She raised her family in Sykesville, MD. Ann graduated from Trenton State College and taught elementary school. She lived in Mays Landing and Absecon for the past 25 years. Ann was preceded in death by her husband Joseph B. McNamee, Jr., son Edward McNamee, and brother Walter Michna. She is survived by her daughter Sue McNamee of Montgomeryville, PA; daughter-in-law Molly Iavaroni; grandson Darryn O’Donnell and his wife Dianna; great-granddaughter Merrin; granddaughter Erin White and husband Declan; great-grandson Liam; great-granddaughter Nora, all of Absecon; sister Helen Michna of Monroe Twp., NJ and sister-in-law Temple Michna of Jamesberg, NJ. The McNamee family would like to thank the staff at Byron Hall, Absecon Manor for the love, care, and patience they gave Ann. A viewing will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 5021 Harding Hwy., Mays Landing, on Wednesday, July 12 from 10-11 AM , with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM.
