Anna Mae “Sue” Morgan, beloved wife of the late Lawrence “Skip” Morgan was called home and into the arms of her Lord and Savior. Born in Port Norris, NJ on July 4, 1926, she resided in Newport for a few years before moving to Weymouth, NJ in 1953. About a year ago due to declining health, she took up residence with her son and wife and passed away at their winter residence in Punta Gorda Florida on February 7, 2020. She is predeceased by her parents Harry and Beulah Cobb, her brothers Henry and Frank Cobb, and her sister Ruth Gifford. She is survived by her son Lawrence Morgan Jr. and wife Arleen from Hammonton, NJ. Also survived by brothers Ty and Norman (Dot) Cobb, sister-in-law Linda Mints and many nieces and nephews. Sue was a long-time member and organist of Weymouth United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing piano and organ for hours. She also like to cook, sew, and read. Skip and Sue were also the founders and developers of Indian Branch Park and Campground starting back in the early 1950’s. A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 13 from 9-11 AM at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where a service will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow at the Weymouth Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Anna's name can be made to: Hammonton Baptist Church, 3rd and Vine Streets, Hammonton, NJ 08037 or to the Weymouth United Methodist Church, c/o Virginia Gale, 6346 Maryland Ave., Mizpah, NJ 08342.
