O’KEEFE, ANNE E. (MACK) 78 – of Mays Landing passed away suddenly into our Lord’s hands on Saturday, July 9, 2011 and was reunited with her beloved husband Raymond of 47 years. Born November 29, 1932 in Aura, NJ, Anne grew up in South Jersey and graduated from Atlantic City HS, class of 1950. After raising her children in Longport and Margate, she also lived in Somers Point and Port Richey, FL before returning to the area over a decade ago. Our loving and devoted mother, grandmother and dear friend is survived by her son Lee of San Antonio, TX, daughter Lisa (Louis) Gambale of Mays Landing, son Ken (Allison) of Grantham, NH, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, loving companion Ted Toth of Mays Landing, sister Martha Mack of Pleasantville and brother David Mack of Galloway. Anne’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joys of her life. Her passions were family, friends, reading and gardening. Visitation will be 9:00 -11:00 AM, Friday, July 15, 2011 at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ. A Mass will follow at 11:30 AM, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 114 NJ Route 50, Mays Landing, NJ. Burial will be private.
