Ranaudo, Anthony, "Butch", 90 ,of Mays Landing, passed away on February 13, 2009. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, he moved to Mays Landing eight years ago. He owned a butcher store in the Bronx for over 30 years.
Anthony served in the Army during WWII. He landed on Utah Beach on D-Day with Army Company "C", 8th Infantry, 4th Division, and was a Combat Wounded Purple Heart Recipient and also received a Bronze Star. He was a member of the VFW.
Anthony was preceded in death by his wife Margaret; he is survived by his daughters Christina Colletti, Joanne Miller, and Madalena Finnegan; grandchildren: Liesa, Paul and his fiancé Audrey, Kristin, Robby, Brian, Jessica, Samantha, and Jeremy; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Monday 7-9 PM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. Commital services will be held on Tuesday, 11 AM, at the Mausoleum at Holy Cross Cemetery in Mays Landing.
