Aurthor Loran, 91, of Northfield, passed away on June 11, 2010. Born in Greece, he served on the Aristotle Onassis personal cruise ship before coming to New York and working at Dannys Hideaway. He moved to New Jersey in 1960 and worked for many years as a chef for the Atlantic City Country Club. He is survived by his two children; Doris Cantrell and Beatrice Lawson, and his grandchildren and great grandchildren who affectionately new him as "Gee". A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 15th, from 7-8 PM, with a service at 8 PM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, NJ.
