Catherine Reese

Catherine A. Reese "Kitty", 85, of Mays Landing, passed away June 24, 2017. Kitty was born on December 20, 1931 to the late Edward and Mary (Jensen) Devlin in Upland, PA and spent most of her life in Pleasantville and Mays Landing. She worked for Shulton’s and CVS prior to retirement. She enjoyed traveling and most of all visiting her large family. She was an avid reader and loved going to the movies. Kitty was a sweet and kind person who was loved by all and always defended the underdog. She prayed the rosary daily for the hundreds on her list. Predeceased by husband Gene, grandson Todd Williamson, siblings Edward (Kathy), George, Phyllis (Tom) Craig. Also in-laws Mary (George) Shane, Thomas and James (Joyce) Reese and Deanna (Richard) Hartmann. Kitty is survived by her children Michael (Michou) Upton, Theresa (Tom) Perkins, Kelly (Walt) Fitton, Gene (Donna), Chris, and Ellen Reese, her siblings Marie (Harry) Meyers, Theresa Warner, James (Pat), William (Barbara), Anthony (Sunny), Lawrence (Diane), and Anna Devlin, her grandchildren, Andrew (Linsey) and Brian Reese, Paul Williamson, Thom (Missy) Perkins, Shanna Clayton, Shawn (Val), Mathew, Ryan (Christine), and Danielle Upton, Christina and Steven Fitton and Neil, Brian, and Lindsey Woerner, 18 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other extended family members as well as her dog Koko. A viewing will be held on Wednesday June 28th, from 10-11am, at the Church of St. Katharine Drexel, 6077 West Jersey Ave., EHT, where mass will be held at 11.
