Cruz Guerrero Mays Landing, New Jersey Obituary

Cruz Guerrero

The Magic of a Mother's Touch There's magic in a Mother's touch, and sunshine in her smile. There's love in everything she does to make our lives worthwhile. We can find both hope and courage just by looking in her eyes. Her laughter is a source of joy, even when the words would hurt us, they are warm and wise, There is a kindness and compassion to be found in her embrace, and we see the light of heaven shining from a Mother's face. Cruz Maria Colon Guererro daughter of Virginia Mercado & Jose Corsino Colon, Sister of Martha Colon, Afortunada Colon, Julio Colon, Jose Colon & Delia Colon, has passed and gone to be with the Lord on 12/31/14. She left a strong legacy through her lineage as the Mother of Maria Laporte, Cesar Laporte, Nilsa Laporte, Hector Laporte, Jose Lopez & Angel Lopez. Grandmother of Sherika Laporte, Ricardo Santiesteban, Kristopher Santiesteban, Isaiah Santeisteban, Cesar Laporte Jr, Hector Laporte Jr., Carlos Laporte, Manuel Laporte, Jessica Ocasio, Nelson Laporte, Asheima Laporte, Anthony ”Tony” Laporte, Jade Lopez, Cristina Lopez, Angelique Lopez, Alexis, Lopez, Ariel Lopez, Angel Lopez Jr., Aiden Lopez, Adam Lopez. Great Grandmother of Kingston, Cruz, Brianna, Ramaj, Samaya, Jeremie, Jaliyah, Shawn Jr., Maleishia, Isaiah, Tony, Tatiana, Andrea, Xavion, Elijah, Matthew, Jayden, Daniel , And her best friend and traveling companion Ivory. She enjoyed her time cooking for her loved ones, dancing, bird watching, traveling with her grandchildren and long walks with Ivory. She was always available to help anyone in need and was definitely a straight shooter who would not sugar coat the truth and always spoke her mind. A native from Singapur Juana Diaz, PR, traveled to NY then Chicago and made NJ her home.
