Daniel Galati

Daniel William Galati passed away Tuesday July 12, 2016 at his home in Mays Landing, NJ. Dan was born on Sept. 28, 1935 in the Bronx, NY. He graduated from Power Memorial High School in NYC. Upon graduation he served in the United States Coast Guard. After serving his country he settled in Rahway NJ for over 50 years before retiring to Mays Landing. Dan was an accountant as a young man but always wanted to work for himself. He was owner/operator of Galati Limousine Service for nearly 40 years. Dan was a hard working business man that was well respected by all he came in contact with. Dan's hobbies included trips to Atlantic City and the Stock Market. "Leave when you are ahead" was his motto. Dan is survived by his wife of over 35 years, Mary Ann Galati. Sons, Daniel (Sherri), Thomas, James (Kathy), John and Michael (Chrissy). Also surviving are 5 grandchildren Nicole (Travis), Kristin, Joey, Renee and Nicky. As well as many other extended family members and friends.
