Daniel R. Peck, "Big Dan", 48, of Buena, passed away on September 20, 2009. A lifelong resident of Atlantic County, Dan was a 1979 graduate of Absegami High School. After graduating he served in the NJ Air National Guard 177th Fighter Wing. He worked for the Showboat Casino for the past 12 years. Throughout Dan's life he was an avid body builder. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten by his mother Sally Sturts (Allen); his father Charles H., Sr; fiancé Linda Conroy; his siblings: Chuck (Julie) and Ron (Joanne); his aunt Edna Shields; his loyal companion Buttkuss, and numerous other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, 1 PM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where friends may gather from 11 AM until the time of the service. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Humane Society of Atlantic County, 1401 Absecon Blvd., Atlantic City, NJ 08401 or the charity of your choice.
