Darleen M. Laney (nee Achanzar), 70, of Mays Landing passed away quietly at home on July 10, 2016. Born in Atlantic City and lived in Mays Landing for 37 years. Darleen raised her two nieces Alex and Emily Achanzar. She worked for the FAA for many years until she retired in 2004. She loved to go to Disney, snow skiing, hiking and roller skating. She is predeceased by her husband Roger Laney and brother Florentino C. Achanzar, Jr. She is survived by her nephews Larry Joslyn, Richard Achanzar, Scott Harcleroad and William Achanzar. Nieces Alex, Emily and Robyn Achanzar, Darlene Deans, Darcie, Lisa and Char Joslyn. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 4pm at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ where family and friends may gather from 2pm to 4pm.
