Bernard, Denise M., was called to rest on October 20, 2007. Denise was born as a twin on June 24, 1957in Mizpah to the late John & Marilyn Bernard. Denise was educated in the schools of Mays Landing and graduated from Oakcrest High School. She enjoyed her life to the fullest, residing in Mizpah all her life, amongst a host of family and friends. Denise leaves to cherish her memories: her companion Robert Russell; her children: Jerniece Bernard (Calvin), William Bussey, Joan Bussey (Lamar); her grandchildren: Mercedes Bernard, Erica Blackwell, Tyneara Hill, and Cyncear Saez; her great-grandchildren: Hazier Blackwell; sister Delores Riddick; brothers: Charlie Riddick and Dennis Bernard; her aunt Joan Beatty; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. A viewing will be held on Friday, 10-11 AM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where services will be held at 11 AM. Burial will be private.Obituary
