Donald Marth

Donald F. Marth, passed away suddenly on October 28, 2013. Don was raised in Preston, MD and graduated High School one of eleven students. He attended Salisbury College and graduated University of Maryland where he was captain of the men’s soccer team. He attended Rutgers University and obtained his Master’s Degree from Glassboro State College. He was a teacher of agriculture, Guidance Counselor, and CIE coordinator at Hammonton High School for 36 years. He enjoyed gardening and camping. Don is predeceased by his parents William and Mildred Marth and his brother William. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilynn, of 54 years. He is also survived by his daughters Christine Marth Petti, Joanne (John) Townsend, Allison (Brian) Devinney, and Donna Marth-Brown. He leaves behind eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brother Pete Marth and sister Joan Payne. A viewing will be held on Friday, November 1st, from 6-8 PM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. Burial will be private.
