Dorothy McCoy, 87 of Manchester Township, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 11th. Dorothy lived in New Jersey all her life. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Evertsen and Karen Barish (Joseph), five loving grandchildren, Amy Porter (Luke), Megan Hawkes (Michael), Erin Chaudruc (Jeremy), Matthew Noll and Christopher Noll and two great grandchildren, Isabel and Burke. She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years William, in 1989. Dorothy was a teacher, mother, wife and volunteer and will be remembered as a strong, spiritual and kind woman. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and visiting with family and friends and loved her grandchildren very much. A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 16th at 10:45am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church in Whiting, NJ. She will be interred with her husband and parents at St. Michael’s Cemetery in South Hackensack, NJ.
