MASHINTER, EDITH B. July 14, 1929 - October 13, 2018, was peacefully taken home to the presence of her Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ, surrounded by her loving family. Eadie was dedicated to her family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Mashinter. She is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl (Mashinter) Hallowell and Pamela (Mashinter) Gosslin and her two son-in-laws, Andrew Hallowell and Nicholas Gosslin, her five grandchildren Ryan, Heather and Brooke Hallowell Sharp (husband Alan Sharp) and Courtney and Bradley Gosslin . Eadie was born in Niagara Falls, New York on July 14,1929 and was married to James Mashinter on September 22,1951. She lived in the Niagara Falls, NY area until 1971. Then moved to Richmond VA and lived in the Richmond area until July 2006 when she moved to Dorothy, NJ to live with her daughter Cheryl and her husband. Nana, as she was called by all her family and many others, loved to travel and cook. Her travels took her to Europe in 1997 and an Alaskan Cruise in 1999, but most of her time was spent with her family. Nana was dedicated to her family and loved to be engaged in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives. She lived to see others happy and wanted all who knew her to come to know her Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her but what a comfort to know she is with her beloved Savior till we meet again. Viewing will be on October 18, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. A private burial will be held in Hanover, VA.
