Edmund H. Cheval, 78, of Atlantic City, passed away on May 29, 2010. Edmund was originally from North Jersey where, as a general contractor, he specialized in commercial and residential building. He was a mastercraftsman in his own right. He has been a resident of Atlantic County for the past 30 years. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Edmund enjoyed politics, baseball, football, and was an accomplished horseman. He is mourned, missed, and survived by his wife of 59 years, Marion, his three daughters; Stephanie, Jennifer Beckman (Russell), and Cynthia (Rick), and his three grandsons; Russell T., Thomas, and Richard. A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 3rd, from 11-2 PM at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, NJ. Burial will be private.
