Blackwell, Edna W., 78, of Richland, went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2008. She was a life-long resident of Richland. Edna was a member of the Seeds of Greatness Bible Church in New Castle, DE. In her leisure time she enjoyed reading, arts and crafts, sending greeting cards, and spending time with family. She is survived by her children: LaVerne Ford Gunter of Vineland, Antoinette Ford of Swedesboro, and Barry Ford, of Bear, DE; her siblings: Elaine Johnson and McCoy Blackwell; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her life-long companion, Theodore H. Ford, Sr., and her son, Felton Blackwell of Mizpah. A viewing will be held on Monday, 6-8 PM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. Services will be held on Tuesday, 11 AM, at the Seeds of Greatness Bible Church, 190 Quigley Blvd., New Castle, DE, where a viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment services will be at 4 PM, Tuesday, at Lincoln Memorial Park in Mays Landing.
