Edward Linda

Edward L. Linda, Sr. age 85 passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at his home. Ed was born in Fair Lawn, NJ to Michael and Maria Linda (both deceased) Ed was a Korean War Veteran of the U.S. Army and earned several metals. He was honorably discharged. Ed was a master carpenter and home builder, retired from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Local 255 (formerly Local 121 in Vineland, NJ. Ed had a passion for horses, owning several of his own and competing in many horse shows with his Peruvian Pacifino. At one time he owned and operated Casa Linda Farms in Crossville, TN. Ed was predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years, Shirley (2005), his two granddaughters Kristin and Courtney Linda, and his three brothers, Matthew, Anthony and Michael. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Debi and Constantine Kiamos of Dorothy, NJ, a son Edward Jr. of Elizabethtown, TN and three grandsons, Jason Kiamos of Galloway, NJ, Ryan Kiamos of Oakland, NJ and Cody Linda of Hickory, NC., also a nephew Frank Linda of Dorothy, NJ whom he thought of as a son. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM at Boakes Funeral Home 6050 Main Street Mays Landing, NJ on Monday, March 13. Relatives and friends will be received from 11 AM to 1PM. Burial will be in St. Bernards R.C. Cemetery in Dorothy, NJ.
