Edward Maltz

Edward Morris Maltz - 76 of Egg Harbor Township, departed this life on Sunday, October 8, 2017. He is predeceased by his parents Louis and Kay Maltz, brother Jay Maltz and sister Lynn Ingster. Edward is survived by his wife Carolyn Maltz and daughters Kay and Karen Maltz. He attended Grandville Ave. Elementary School and graduated from Atlantic City High School in 1959. Edward studied architecture at Georgia Tech. He was a Vietnam veteran who served in the US Navy on the USS Princeton LPH5 from 1964 to 1968. He loved playing computer games, woodworking, golfing and reading. Edward was an avid animal lover and cat rescuer. He spent many quiet moments grilling and chilling with his family in the back yard. Edward retired as a dealer at the Trump Castle/Marina Casino. He is loved by many nieces, cousins and longtime friends. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 14, 2017 with viewing time from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Boakes funeral home 6050 Main street Mays Landing, N.J.
