Edwin Foldoe

Edwin Samuel Foldoe, Jr passed away on January 4th, 2014 at the age of 68 years. Originally born in Atlantic City, he resided in many places throughout his life - most recently the Veterans Memorial Home of Vineland. The eldest of six children, he was himself married twice and the father of four children. Edwin was a proud veteran of the United States Army, and had several places of employment, notably as a security guard for approximately 20 years at the Shore Mall. He was an avid lover of both photography and poetry, even writing numerous poems himself, which he had published in two works. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Newfield, VFW post 220 in Mays Landing, The American Legion, and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Edwin was predeceased by his second wife Janice Mary, and his sister Ellen Leona; sister Carol Wilma; brother Timothy Gene. He is survived by his first wife Mary; daughter Tammy; daughter Tawnya (Stephen); son Joshua; daughter Andrea (Chris); grandson Jordan; granddaughter Cailey; grandson Samuel; granddaughter Jamie; granddaughter Alyssa; sister Norma (David) Amiot, brother Roger (Debbie) Foldoe; and numerous nieces and nephews. A small graveside service, followed by internment, will be held at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, located in the Atlantic County Park in Estell Manor. A small gathering will be held afterwards at Ye Olde Mill St Pub in Mays Landing.
