Kraekel, Emil, 83, of Philadelphia, passed away on May 14, 2008. He was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia and a seasonal resident of Ocean City. Emil was the owner and operator of Reinert's Own Make Candies and Ice Cream, a family tradition for over 100 years in Philadelphia. He was a member and past president of the Philadelphia Confectionary Association and the Tioga Businessmen's Association. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lyda; two daughters: Ari Valdes-Vincent and Linda Monson; seven grandchildren: Victoria, Alexia, Collin, Rachel, Andrew, Angie, and Toby; and one sister, Caroline Tetzner. Services will be held on Tuesday, 12 Noon, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where a viewing will be held from 11 AM until the time of the service. Graveside Services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, at Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA.
