Felisa J. Jaravata-Samodio, 84, of Egg Harbor Twp., passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on November 25, 2012. She was born and raised in LaUnion, Philippines, where she owned and operated various businesses. In 1972 she moved to Los Angeles, CA to join her children and began her new career in Home Health Care. Fely was a devout Catholic. A dedicated and devoted matriarch of five generations, she will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her three children, Faustino Samodio, Jr. (Evelyn) of Philadelphia, Linda Samodio-Lane (Joseph) of Chenoa, IL, Manuel Samodio (Teresita) of Galloway, 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, 4 nieces, and numerous other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening, November 28th, from 6-8pm, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, NJ. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 29th, from 10-11am, at the St. Vincent DePaul Church, 5021 Harding, Mays Landing, where a mass will be celebrated at 11am. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
