Florence, M. Tartaglione, 74, of Mays Landing, passed away suddenly on January 31, 2010. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she lived in Egg Harbor Township before moving to Mays Landing 25 years ago. She worked for the Atlantic County Sheriff's Department for 27 years until her retirement in 1995. Florence was a member of the Red Hatters. Throughout her life, she was a recognized artist and received many awards. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her three children: Deborah Ronchetti (Richard) of Vineland, Jeffrey Ross (Betty Jo) of Egg Harbor Township, and Philip Tucker (Angel) of Mays Landing; seven grandchildren: Jessica, Russell, Kayla, Samantha Jo, Corianna, LeAnne, and Dana; and two great-grandchildren: Brian and Hailey. She was preceded by her husbands George Ross and Philip Tartaglione and her brother Paul Furman. A viewing will be held on Thursday, 9-11 AM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11:30 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Route 50 & 2nd St., Mays Landing. Burial will be in Laurel Memorial Park.
