Frank V. Baloh, of Egg Harbor Township, formerly of Plains Twp., PA, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2016 with his loving family by his side after a courageous fight with multiple sclerosis and cancer. Born and raised in Swoyersville, PA he graduated from Central Catholic High School, now known as Bishop O’Reilly High School in Kingston, PA. He also is a graduate of Kings College in Wilkes Barre, PA. He was a veteran of the US Army. He worked at Chase Correctional Institute as Officer IV in Dallas, PA. After his retirement he and his wife moved to New Jersey to be close to family. In his younger days he was an avid hunter and also loved fishing and gardening. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary (Shemo) Baloh. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Melinda (nee: Civinski); his daughter Barbara and her husband John Hensyl; two grandchildren that he adored: Carissa and Brandon. A viewing will be held on Friday, September 23 from 10-11 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 5021 Harding Highway, Mays Landing, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Mays Landing.
