Grieco, Frank Sr., 88, of Mays Landing passed away on April 27, 2013 surrounded by his family. Born in Newark, NJ, he served in the United States Navy during WWII. Frank moved to Mays Landing in the early 1970’s. He was a Maintenance Supervisor at Shultons Inc. for 32 years. Frank was very active in the Hamilton Twp. Community. He served on the Township Committee and was a past Mayor, past Chairman of the Zoning Board, past Board member of the MUA, member of the Republican Club, past President of the Chamber of Commerce, Past President of the St. Vincent DePaul Church Council, and was a Life member and Past Commander of the VFW Post 220 and the DAV. In 1989, the “Frank Grieco Sr.” Senior Citizen Center was dedicated in his honor. He was pre-deceased by his late wife Anna Grieco, his sons, Nicholas and Richard, and his brother George. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten by his loving wife of 35 years Betty, his children; Sally Geller (Joe), Frank Jr., Donald (Diane), Howard “Boot” Booye (Noelle), and Traci Brittain (Eric), his grandchildren; Rob, Chris, Becky, Anna, Dawn, Tara, Nick, Jason, Rieley, Lydia, Madeline, Daishawn and Johnathan, five great-grandchildren, his two sisters Maria Buratti (Julius), and Nellie Dougherty (Joseph), his loving dogs Buttons, Nicki, and Speedy, and numerous other relatives and friends. A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 2nd from 7-9pm, and Friday from 10-11am, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where services will be held at 11am.
