Frank C. Pitt of Egg Harbor Township, beloved husband of Phyllis Frontuto Pitt, earned his wings on Tuesday, October 4th with his wife at his side. Frank was born on October 3, 1941 and raised in the Inlet section of Atlantic City. He honorably served his Country in the U.S. Navy. He retired from ShopRite in 2004, most recently working in building maintenance and repair. He was a proud member of the local VFW and American Legion. Frank’s hobbies included traveling, spending time with his family and spending time in his wood shop.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Frontuto Pitt; mother-in-law, Esther Frontuto; his daughter, Kim O’Neil (Charles); stepsons Matt Bruckler (Linda) and Michael Bruckler; grandchildren Kate, Maggie, Michael and Clara O’Neil; the pride and joys of his life, granddaughter Gabby Shaner (Andrew) and grandson Ben Buckler; and great-granddaughter “princess” Aria Estelle Shaner. Frank is also survived by his brother William Pitt (Joan), brother-in-law, Nick Frontuto (Donna); sister-in-law, Ginger Frontuto Fisher (Sandy) and many nieces and nephews. He will also be dearly missed by travel buddies Jim and Arleen Mullery.

Viewing will be held at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ on Friday, October 7th from 6pm-8pm and Saturday, October 8th from 11am-12pm, with a Memorial Service at 12 Noon. Interment with Military Honors will be immediately after the service at the Atlantic County Veteran’s Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ.
