Brevard, Frederick Joe, of Atlantic City, passed away on September 3, 2011. He was 48. Fred was born July 4, 1963 at Fort Dix, NJ to the late Samuel Brevard and Lucy Mae Brevard (Sims). Fred was raised in Mays Landing where he attended Hamilton Township Schools and Oakcrest High School. Fred also was an honorary member of the Atlantic City Chapter of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. Fred was a very spirited and fun-loving person; he enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He is pre-deceased by eight siblings; and is survived by two sisters: Linda Farmer of Mays Landing and Olga Chainey of Pleasantville; seven brothers: Raymond of Elizabeth; Franklin of Chesapeake, VA, Isee of Montclair, Adrian of Los Angeles, CA; Phillip and Kevin of Mays Landing, Zachary of Charleston, WV; and a host of nieces and nephews. A service will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park in Mays Landing.
