Frederick Henderson passed peacefully on January 3, 2017 at the age of 86. He is predeceased by his mother Ellen, father Fred, and brothers John, Ernest and son Frederick Jr. He is survived by his wife Eva, sister Ellen, sister-in-law Ruth and his children Gale Pino (Frank), Tom (Marianne), Bob (Terry) and Janet Weigand. He is also survived by his grandchildren Michelle Conti (Vinny), Frank, Kevin (Nichole), Helen, Frederick III (Ashley), Marianne DeAngelis (Steve), Thomas Jr. (Amanda), Robert Jr. (Sunee), Christina Thomas (Edward), Tiffany Minster (Andrew) and ten great-grandchildren Nicholas, Isabella, Anthony, Christian, Stephen, Christopher, Layla, Thomas, Emily and Clara. Fred and his wife Eva were married for 67 years. They lived in Manayunk for many years and attended the Church of St. Alban where he was a member of the choir. He worked for many years at the Northeast Times as a driver and retired after 5 years at Trent Inc. He enjoyed coin collecting, outdoors, animals and camping. He was a member of the NRA and liked target shooting. In 1998 they moved to Ocala, Florida where they enjoyed many peaceful years. In September of 2014 they left Florida and moved to New Jersey with their daughter Gale where his grandchildren and great-grand children gave him great joy. Services to be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 10 am at The Church of Saint Alban, 500 Fairthorne Ave., Philadelphia, PA, 19128. Interment will follow at Westminster Cemetery.
