George John Banker, Jr., of Mays Landing, passed away on May 31, 2015.
Born in Trenton, he lived in Hamilton most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Pacific during WWII. After the service he worked for Bayer Aspirin for 40 years.
George was a life-member of Hamilton Elks 2262 and a member of American Legion Post #31.
Predeceased by his parents, his sister, and his wife Margaret “Peggy” (nee: Hansen). He is survived by two sons: David (Kathy) Banker of Elkins Park, PA and Bruce (Carol) Banker of Mays Landing; one step-grandson, Jesse Brodman of Elkins Park, PA; brother and sister-in-law James (Carolyn) Banker of Williamstown, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.
