Schneider, Gerard N., 71, of the Oaks of Weymouth Section of Mays Landing, passed away on June 7, 2008. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he has been an area resident for the past 20 years. He served in the U.S. Army Corps. He was a subcontractor for the FAA Technical Center.

He is survived by his wife Diane; his children Jodya Farrell (Jack) of Exton, PA, Gerard Schneider (Kirsten) of Haslet, TX, John Schneider (Laurie) of Scituate, MA, Jacalyn Schneider of Philadelphia, PA, and Jeff Schneider (Shelley) of Newington, CT, and their mother Jodya Wasilko; two step-children: Alicia DePazza and Keith DePazza; nine grandchildren; John, Alexandra, Tyler, Harleigh, Andrew, Megan, Keira, Devon, and Peyton; and two brothers: Martin and Joseph Schneider.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, 9:30-11 AM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, 11:30 AM, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 114 Route 50, Mays Landing. Burial will be in the Atlantic Co. Veterans Cemetery in Estell Manor.
