Gloria Greenlee-Peachey Obituary

Gloria “Jean” (Morton) Greenlee-Peachey, 73, of Estell Manor, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 after medical complications. Jean was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to everyone who ever met her. Jean was a wonderful mother leaving behind a daughter, Victoria (Greenlee) Merrill and son-in-law Norman L. Merrill, Jr. of Estell Manor. A son, Steven Greenlee of Daytona Beach, FL, and youngest son Matthew Greenlee and daughter-in-law, Kim Byrd-Greenlee of Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She was a “second” mother to Jodi Lee Cassidy of Richmond, KY. She was a mother to many, as everyone who met her always called her Mom. Jean was a grandmother to Angela Rauen of Oregon, Jeff Richmond of Florence, KY and Jamie Carver of Cincinnati, OH. A great-grandmother to Hagan Rauen of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Cade Dean of Cincinnati, OH, and Ava and Jaydan Richmond, of Florence, KY. Jean leaves behind many sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews. Mom couldn’t swim, but never wanted to miss a weekend from the pool gang where she spent her greatest summers with her extended family and best friend, Colleen. Mom loved to dance and sing “Mama-Mia” at the top of her lungs as she went about cleaning and dusting. She loved Fishing, watching Law and Order, Godiva candy, and Tasty-Cakes. She loved McDonald’s apple pies and Big Macs. Mom touched many lives with her laughter, kindness, and generosity. Mom will be forever missed by everyone who knew her.
