Harry Hartman

Harry (Bud) Hartman (84), of Mays Landing, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 25, 2010. Harry was born on August 12, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA. He remained in Philadelphia until he enlisted in the United States Navy, where he bravely served our country in World War II. Upon returning home he met and married Nina J. (Bradford) Hartman, his wife of 62 years. Harry is survived by his wife Nina; daughter Linda (Tom) Smith; son Harry (Kathy) Hartman III; two granddaughters Stacy (Scott) Suazo, Cheryl Pavia; three grandsons Daniel & Michael Hartman, Thomas (Carla) Smith; six great-grandchildren William Tozer III, Ronald T. Pavia, Connor Suazo, Skyler, Jaiden and Raina Smith. He is also survived by his sisters Doris Green, Anna Moore; and brothers Richard and Thomas Hartman. He is predeceased by his sister Mickey Paolino. A celebration of Harry’s life will be held at Boakes Funeral Home 650 Main Street Mays Landing, NJ from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday August 30,2010. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lighthouse Alliance Community Church. P.O. Box 1069, Tuckerton, NJ 08087. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
