Jacqueline Carol Connelly (Hinkley) - 72, of Davenport, FL, formerly of Mays Landing, NJ, died peacefully at home with family by her side on Monday, February 9th. She was born on November 7, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA to Arthur and Winifred (Andrews) Hinkley. She attended schools in Cherry Hill, N.J. She was married for 50 years to Horace Connelly, a retired captain from the Pleasantville Fire Department. Jackie retired in July of 2000 from Pleasantville School District where she was bookkeeper. She moved to Florida after retirement where she lived out the rest of her life.

Her favorite pastimes were going on cruises and going to the casinos. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, nanny and sister.

She is survived by her husband Horace, her sons David and Christopher (Grace), her 10 grandchildren, her sister and brother-in-law Diane and Malcolm Lawler (Hinkley) and many nieces and nephews. She was recently predeceased by her daughter and best friend Jennifer Willman.

Burial will private and there will be a memorial service on Sunday, March 8,2015, at Boakes Funeral Home from 3-5:00 pm. A celebration of Jackie’s life will follow at the Mays Landing Fire House from 5-8:00 pm . All are welcome to attend.
