James Mancuso

James A. Mancuso, Sr., 75, of Mays Landing, laid his soul to rest on Thursday, January 31, 2013, surrounded by the love of his family; his wife of 56 years Sharon, his three sons who he loved so very much, James A., Jr. (Cheri), George C. (Liz), and Robert G. (Diane), his loving grandchildren who were able to be with him on his last journey; Jennifer, Jorden, Jimmy, Lauren, George, Jr., Paul, Dominic, and Genna, and his five great-grandchildren. Prior to his retirement, Jim worked for Tasty Baking Co. as a driver, salesman, and District Manager, for over 40 years. He enjoyed going to Dover Downs Nascar races and was a member of the Cruisin Classics Auto Club, but his favorite place to be was Myrtle Beach SC, sitting on the beach watching the waves roll in. Jim was predeceased by his brother Robert F. Mancuso, his parents Nancy and Alfonso, and his mother-in-law Evelyn B. Fabian. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday, February 4th, from 11am-12noon, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where reflections will be shared at noon. Burial will be in Union Cemetery of Mays Landing. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Jim’s memory to the Humane Society of Atlantic County, 1801 Absecon Blvd., Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
