James N. Simpson (Jimmy), age 78, went home to Jesus on July 17, 2011. Beloved husband and best friend of Violet M. (Haines) of Mays Landing, formerly of Brigantine and Haddon Township. Dearest father of Sharon Raimer of Haddon Twp. and Brian of Eidson, TN; loving Pop Pop of Mikael, Chase, Carlee, Caitlin, Travis and Brinn; son of the late James J. and Ethel Simpson of Audubon; brother of William J. (Anne) of Voorhees. He served in the USAF during the Korean War and was employed by Triangle Publications in Philadelphia, PA and the Miller Brewing Co. in Fulton, NY. He will be dearly missed by his four-legged “Baby Girl” Charlotte. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, 2 PM, at the Atlantic Co. Veterans Cemetery in Estell Manor, where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Pastor David McGettigan of St. Andrew by the Sea Lutheran Church will be officiating. Mr. Simpson was a disabled veteran. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, 135 W. Hanover St., 4th Floor, Trenton, NJ 08618.
