Jean Summerson

Summerson, Jean C., "Sis", 83, of Cologne, passed away on June 19, 2007, at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City. Jean was born in Brooklyn, NY to Eugene and Christina Mears. Jean enjoyed many happy times with Glenn, cruising the Carribean and watching the sunset in Melbourne Beach, FL. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her poodles. She will be sadly missed by all she touched. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Glenn Summerson; she was a devoted mother to Dixie, Eugene (Kathleen), Betty, Terry, and Lance (Terri); grandmother to Glenda Amador, Cleta Maygar, Angel Baldi, Billy Klein, Chrissy Mcintosh, Tammy Gaskill, Marc Summerson, Lance Summerson, and Valerie Bartholomew; and a great-grandmother of 14. Jean is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Dot (Huff) of Pawling, NY; Eugene (Bub) of Hunter Lake, NY; John of Santa Rosa, CA; and George of Flagstaff, AZ. A memorial service will be private.
