Jeffrey J. Weiss 4/6/68- 6/17/17 Jeffrey J. Weiss went home to be with the Lord and reunited with his mother on June 17, 2017 due to a tragic car accident. Jeff was born on April 6, 1968 and attended St. Nicholas grammar school and St. Joseph's High School. He grew up in Egg Harbor City until moving to May Landing years ago. Jeff was very active with his St. Katharine Drexel Church family and was involved with the Stephen's Ministry, Pastoral Council, Knights of Columbus. Jeff worked previously at Trump Plaza, Tropicana, and Caesars and made numerous friends over the years. He later worked for AT &T and the Arc of Atlantic County. He currently was employed at the Woodland Community Association as a Maintenance Supervisor. One of Jeff's favorite things to do was to travel to New York, Los Angeles, Myrtle Beach, Philadelphia to share good times and memories with friends. Jeff had a heart of gold and genuinely cared about everyone he came in contact with. He met and helped people of all walks and paths of life, never judging but always loving, and giving compassion and support. He was a beautiful, kindhearted, sincere person who loved the Lord, his family, and friends. Jeff lived a selfless life giving of himself to anyone in need. The world lost a caring, compassionate person who was dedicated to fairness and humanity. He truly was one in a million and will be missed by so many. Jeffrey was predeceased by his mother Anita J. Weiss. He is survived by his father John J. Weiss of South Carolina, sister Jacquelyn Y. Weiss of Egg Harbor Township, brother John J. Weiss of Egg Harbor City, sister Jean M. Burrell of Mays Landing whom he resided with, his nieces and nephews Jarrod, Leonard, Brittany, Felicia and Kylie, three great nephews, his special and best friend Carmen Hernandez, and numerous other friends and family who he adored. Jeffrey's Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at the Church of St. Katharine Drexel Church, 6077 West Jersey Ave., Egg Harbor Township, on Thursday, June 29, 2017. Family and friends may gather from 10:00 to 11:00 with Mass starting at 11:00 am.
