John P. Campbell, 49, of Mays Landing passed away suddenly on Sunday September 20, 2009. Predeceased by his parents John and Catherine Campbell, John is survived by his loving wife Patricia Campbell, and his two sons Zachariah 21, and Benjamin 17. He is also survived by his three sisters, Ann, of Ventnor, Susan, of Galloway, and Beth Walsh (Bill) of Chalfont, PA. He is also survived by his niece Katie Schmutz and his nephews Thomas and Michael. He was a graduate of Atlantic City High School class of 1979, after which he attended Mercer County Community College. He was a carpenter by trade and always enjoyed woodworking and home improvement projects. An avid Phillies Phan his whole life, he always enjoyed going to the games with his Family and Friends. Well known for his practical jokes and fun loving spirit, he will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his memory on Thursday from 4-6 PM at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to your local animal shelter.
