John J. Golden, Jr., “Jack”, 70, of Mays Landing, went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Jack had a great love for carpentry and owned the Golden Touch for many years. He is survived by his wife Cheryl T. Golden and step-sons Shawn and Justin Tamanini, his daughters; Cheryl Golden (Keith), Dawn Ludwig (Kevin), his brothers; Mike Golden (Diane) and Dan Golden, his sisters; Marion Golden, Toot Golden (Lee), and Patty Wolfe (Mike), and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Mildred and John, and his sister Joan “Bone”. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, September 21, from 6-8 PM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where a service will be held at 8 PM. One of Jack’s last wishes that everyone wears bright clothes, as they would to a luau.
